What do you see as opportunities for the future of the nutrition and dietetics profession?
I am most excited about the new pathways for advanced practice. I continue to notice the difficulties individuals have in career advancement towards goals of becoming a NDTR and/or RDN, then to other professional roles. I am passionate about our profession and our goal to protect the public as the nutrition experts. I want to continue to strengthen the NDTR role and improvement of professional ladders ensuring adequate training and competencies for the new age of leadership.
Campaign Statement
Moving the profession towards the next decade while strengthening professional ladders for advancement and protecting the public.
