What do you see as opportunities for the future of the nutrition and dietetics profession?
The recognition by the public and governmental agencies that the RDN is THE food and nutrition expert. RDN's are leading the way in addressing childhood obesity, developing US Dietary Guidelines, impacting legislation to improve food and nutrition resources for vulnerable populations, and improving outcomes in our hospitalized patients. Our impact is far reaching and will only increase as our expertise and leadership in improving our nation's health grows.
