CDR Board Certified Specialist in Pediatric Nutrition |
|
I have been a member of the AND (ADA) since 1992 and have over 25 years of experience in pediatric nutrition as a clinical dietitian and a manager of clinical nutrition and lactation for a large pediatric facility, Children's Hospital Los Angeles. In this position I am responsible for programmatic quality, personnel management, policies and budget for over 45 staff. Within that role I have worked closely with the DI Director, functioned on the Advisory Committee and more recently have been given general oversight over the Dietetic Internship Director for the internship affiliated with our institution. I have been a member of the CDR committee for the CDR examination for Board Certification in Pediatrics. Establishing standards and expectations internally as an organization is a necessity in assuring the entry level competency of the registered dietitian as well as the pediatric specialist and in doing so, assures the value of our unique skill set in the various marketplaces. |
