I successfully increased the number of student liaisons by 30% during my term on the Student Council Advisory Committee. As the current young practitioner representative on the Council on Future Practice, I work diligently to enhance input and feedback from a diverse group of think tank members on key issues surrounding the visioning process and the future of our profession. |

What do you see as opportunities for the future of the nutrition and dietetics profession?
Increasing young members’ engagement and diversifying our profession are what I am the most excited about! As a former Academy’s Diversity Leader, I am committed to engaging both young and diverse members to take action and be part of the core team to address the mega issues facing our profession. Members under 30 are the future of nutrition and dietetics and the opportunity to represent this elite group of diverse and passionate young professionals would be a tremendous honor!
