What do you see as opportunities for the future of the nutrition and dietetics profession?
Advanced practice credentialing is now a reality after over 35 years of exploration. Formalizing advanced practice expands opportunities for the RDN and will help drive autonomous practice. While clinical nutrition is the first focus area for advanced practice credentialing, the future of nutrition and dietetics should bring credentialing to other practice areas to recognize advanced RDNs across the profession.
Campaign Statement
As an experienced clinician, researcher, and educator with a passion for promoting advancement of dietetics professionals through credentialing, I will work diligently to expand credentialing and practice opportunities for all RDNs and DTRs.
