I also proposed and successfully implemented the growth of our executive committee. What do you see as opportunities for the future of the nutrition and dietetics profession?
The past 100 years the Academy has supported the growth of the profession of dietetics. Now more than ever we cannot lose this momentum. As dietitians we need to market our credential and the expertise that stands behind it. Building the understanding of our customers, will only help build our reputation allowing RDNs to take "the lead" in doing research, educating the masses and authoring the policies that will optimize the health of our nation.
