I have worked with numerous ACEND accredited programs to provide internship experiences to their dietetic students. 4.During my time as chair for Healthy Aging DPG I headed the exploration to define the identity of the practice group.|

Successfully submitted spotlight session for FNCE, led the executive committee to assure completion of all DPG goals, headed exploration to define the identity of the practice group, and provided support and historical background to incoming chair.|

The future of dietetics is wide open. Consumers are more engaged than ever in how nutrition impacts their overall health and they want nutrition experts to guide them. Opportunities outside of traditional health settings are trending now and will continue to evolve. RDNs have important roles in business, communication, research and personalized nutritional care. We are uniquely poised to lead consumers in what and how we eat and the evidence-based practices that promote optimal wellness.
As a representative of the Commission on Dietetic Registration I will draw upon my experience and strategic skills to uphold and strengthen the standards of our profession.
