What do you see as opportunities for the future of the nutrition and dietetics profession?
Food and nutrition are critical to global health and well-being. 2020 has presented many challenges. With challenges come opportunities. Let’s look forward and pursue opportunities to improve health equity and outcomes, be advocates for legislation and inclusion, increase reimbursement for MNT and promote licensure. We must develop practitioners with leadership skills and cultural competence that embrace change. Evidence-based practice and research are key for us to be the go-to practitioner.
