What do you see as opportunities for the future of the nutrition and dietetics profession?
As a registered dietitian for 14 years and a healthcare executive for 9 years, advocating for equitable and relevant healthcare, especially nutrition services, is my foremost priority. Dismantling systems and structures that prevent our patients from accessing this care in holistic, welcoming environments is essential to long-term success and improvement of overall health of the United States and all those we serve.
As a long-term member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, I am committed to diversifying and increasing the candidate pool and the qualifications of those selected to serve on the ballot for election.
