What do you see as opportunities for the future of the nutrition and dietetics profession?
As food and nutrition professionals, we have firmly established ourselves and the critical role we play in the acute care setting and in preventing and treating some chronic conditions such as diabetes. In more recent years, we have also taken bold steps to lead advances in nutrition policy, research, technology, and culinary medicine. The future of the food and nutrition profession lies in our ability to remain agile and responsive to new and emerging practice areas and to continue to shape ourselves as experts and leaders in our field.
Campaign Statement
I promise to uphold the highest standards in the practice of dietetics, to be a proactive advocate for our profession, and to encourage interactive dialogue that promotes positive change.
