What do you see as opportunities for the future of the nutrition and dietetics profession?
The future is wide open for students and practitioners today with many choices of what to do and how to help others. The Academy frameworks for education, research and practice are in place and new opportunities and audiences abound. The profession of nutrition and dietetics focuses on people as its core. When lives and events change quickly, we must adapt faster than ever before while upholding our scientific and ethical principles.

Experience is the Best Teacher. Through my extensive activities and positions in the Academy, I've been able to guide and mentor new leaders at the district, state and national level. The new generation of practitioners continue to teach me!
