1. Designing and facilitating House of Delegates (HOD) meetings has enhanced my skills in meeting management and facilitation to achieve desired meeting outcomes. 2. Previous opportunities to lead various groups has allowed me to solidify effective communication skills with a wide range of practitioners. 3. Working with delegates, revised the process of identifying "critical issues" through constituency engagement and capturing issues important to members. 4. Facilitated part of the HOD 2020 Fall meeting focused on cultural humility and recognizing and addressing implicit bias. |

What do you see as opportunities for the future of the nutrition and dietetics profession?
Volatility and uncertainty have become a normal state which can have a far-reaching impact on our profession and our organization. The Academy needs dynamic, inclusive and visionary leaders, with diverse thinking who can embrace these challenges and carry out strategic activities and initiatives that will guarantee success for our future.
