As Deputy Commissioner of Education for the CT Department of Education, I provide leadership oversight that impacts 530,000 K-12 students. I have developed and implemented strategic plans with transformative results. 3. I am a performance-driven education leader who excels as an effective communicator, well-versed in leadership and management theories, and communication and teamwork. |

The future of our profession is intertwined with our nutrition practitioners. Whether we serve in traditional or developing markets, in private or public sectors, as entrepreneurs, or in business and industry, we are positioned to address emerging issues such as the impacts of the COVID 19 pandemic. Additionally, we have a moral imperative to improve diversity, equity, and inclusion within our sphere of influence. Our profession will continue to evolve and our expertise will be in demand; we must actively engage and lead by creating opportunities for our profession.
I will leverage my skills and networks with the nominating committee to advance candidates and ensure that the Academy is a diverse, equity-focused organization with engaged members who are positioned to be an elite force of difference-makers!
