What do you see as opportunities for the future of the nutrition and dietetics profession?
I am so excited to work on the development of future professionals and the expansion of practice opportunities. I am encouraged that we have gained recognition at home and abroad as leaders in food and nutrition in areas such as agriculture, food management, nutrigenomics, media, community nutrition, and clinical practice. We celebrated 100 years as a profession last year. Like our founders, we need to be bold and visionary about our future; expanding our practice reach, breadth, and depth.
