My first political experience was marching, with my son in a stroler, for the Equal Rights Ammendment. Politics and legislation have interested me since the early 1970s. Therefore, while completing my didactic courses in dietetics, I worked to begin a local chapter of the Women's Political Caucus.

I consider myself a change agent. Why? In the past two positions I have held as a Patient Services Manager, I have successfully led teams that improved patient satisfaction scores at two 400 bed hospitals from as low as the 9th Percentile to the 70th and 80th Percentile.
