| Dietetic Technician Program Representative-CADE Board Member | Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education | - | As a member of the CADE board, I served on the Policy and Procedure Committee and member of the DTR ad hoc committee which was convened to address key recommendations of the Phase 2 Future Practice and Education Task Force. I took part in the development of a new CADE Strategic Plan. I also provided input/oversight as Program Representative for site visits, participating in conference calls with Site Team reviewers prior to and after site visits as necessary. As part of my responsibilities, I presented with the Executive Director at the area DEP meeting giving an update to educators on recent CADE activities. I provided input and participated in the decisions made by the Board. | |

Campaign Statement
For our Association and for me as a leader, it is important to act boldly and make responsible decisions that advance our profession. I try to both inspire others and enable others to act. My leadership roles and diverse experiences have strengthened my understanding of the issues facing us.
