What do you see as opportunities for the future of the nutrition and dietetics profession?
RDN's and NDTR's have a lot of competing opportunities that can make it a difficult decision to become a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Showing the value of being a member of the Academy has got to be a priority. The Academy also has to continue to show leadership in the area of DEI in the area of recruitment, training and retention of DEI members. Efforts to increase the pay for RDN's and NDTR's has also got to be a priority.
Campaign Statement
The Academy BOD's are the face of the Academy and that face needs to be more diverse if we are to recruit and retain members.
