The future of the dietetics profession holds many opportunities for professional growth & recognition within healthcare. Through promoting public awareness & enhancing our diversity of practice, we can have a positive impact on the dietetic profession. Investing resources in the marketing of CDR credentialed practitioners to policy makers is important in affirming our preparedness to protect & improve public health. As the healthcare environment evolves, new potential arises and we need added certifications to give dietetic professionals the opportunities to refine their skills & stand apart.
I have worked in various areas of nutrition and connected with many diverse groups. Currently, I am educating the next generation of dietetic professionals and as your CDR DTR Representative, I will advocate for high standards and effective policies.
