Opportunities abound for our profession to be more impactful, diverse, and far-reaching. RDNs and NDTRs have the power to transform lives, communities, systems, and the world through food and nutrition. Three areas that require championing to optimally leverage our potential and not miss ever-evolving opportunities include: 1) Promoting RDNs as THE nutrition experts, recognized and pursued by all. 2) Diversity, equity, and inclusion as a central tenet to all we do, not siloed. 3) Advocacy and coalition building. We must have a seat at the table and make our voices heard as THE experts.
A proven strategic and dynamic leader with financial acumen, committed to concrete solutions that will result in an Academy that is more diverse, innovative, and influential.
