1. Preceptor for 10 Dietetic Interns, asst CNM/CNM for 7 entry level RDs. 2. I have been an ACEND program reviewer for four years, including the Future Education Model. 3. Through my work as an ACEND program reviewer, I have had an opportunity to interact with many program directors. I also teach a nutrition class at a community college. 4. As an instructor at a community college, I work in a college with a 45% minority population. |

What do you see as opportunities for the future of the nutrition and dietetics profession?
If I am selected to serve as a member of the ACEND board, I look forward to working with educational institutions to improve the delivery of dietetics education to help further our profession. The introduction of the Future Education Model is an exciting opportunity for our profession to increase the depth of knowledge and training provided to further solidify our roles as nutrition and dietetics experts as well as leaders in the field of healthcare.

As a current ACEND program reviewer with knowledge of accreditation standards, I am looking to further my involvement with the organization by serving on the board.
