|Nominating Committee National Leader||
|| Serving as the Chair of the Member Service Advisory Committee required understanding of how the Board structure drives member
experiences as well as our outward facing role as a society. I delivered the educational module to the HOD and membership from the work of our committee about extending non-RD affiliate
membership opportunities to adjacent and complimentary professionals, a recommendation that ultimately passed. Specific guidelines were developed to afford membership opportunities,
but also distinguish member benefits across membership types.

|Chair||Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Research DPG||2012 - 2014||Reestablished awards for ?rst author, coauthor and junior author awards. Facilitated the seed grant awards for members. Negotiated and executed two pre-FNCE workshops on key topics (Mediterranean Diet, Reproductive health and nutrition).|
|Nominating Committee||Society for Nutrition Education and Behavior||2015 - 2017||Secured and con?rmed a national ballot for two years. Served as cochair the second year of appointment.|
|Chair||Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Member Services Advisory Committee||2016 - 2017||After a year of service, was asked to serve as Vice Chair and extend an additional year of service to Chair committee. As Chair, led committee through discussions of issues related to member bene?ts. During this time, we updated the Find an RD platform and facilitated the Membership categories revision approved by the HOD. Chair the ?nal year of membership.|
