Personal and Campaign Statements
Nutrition professionals as expert witnesses will increase, as artificial intelligence tools are used incorrectly to make consumer and patient care decisions. Consumers will routinely use the Academy’s Nutrition Fact Check to make informed decisions about what they eat. Accessible and affordable nutrition options for families caring for infants, preschool children and those using K-12 education services will become essential, as well as for those seeking education after high school because of the rising costs of education services. The need for nutrition professionals who understand and provide care for those of varying cultures, religions and social status will increase. Referrals from medical professionals will increase as the Academy develops partnerships with like-minded organizations and physician-led groups. Society will increasingly seek care from nutrition professionals, using their covered insurance allotment, by paying cash or both. Nutrition practitioners will be the most desired team members in human research studies. The Academy’s recruitment tools and professionals promoting the profession result in students and second career adults entering the career pipeline.
