I bring over 25 years of leadership in nonprofit operations, higher education, and professional associations, with extensive experience in board governance, policy implementation, and financial oversight. As State Treasurer and District President for the California Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, I aligned budgets with strategic goals, promoted transparency, and fostered a culture of inquiry. In my role as Director of Operations for Ronald McDonald House Charities Northern California, I manage multi-site budgets, capital projects, and fund accounting, translating complex financial data for diverse stakeholders. My Peace Corps service and leadership with the American Camp Association have strengthened my ability to think globally, strategically, and futuristically, balancing diverse and competing needs. Across all roles, I have championed inclusion, diversity, equity, and access—designing accessible programs, creating internships, and ensuring financial and organizational decisions |

Personal and Campaign Statements
Dietitians have extraordinary opportunities to lead in today’s evolving landscape. Emerging trends in healthcare, sustainability, and digital technology call for our expertise in evidence-based nutrition and advocacy for equity in food and health. We can expand our reach through telehealth and digital platforms, influence sustainable food systems, and strengthen our role in addressing chronic disease and food insecurity. By embracing innovation and fostering inclusion, dietitians can amplify their impact, elevate the profession’s visibility, and ensure our voice is central in shaping healthier, more equitable communities for the future.
My leadership is grounded in collaboration and accountability, building trust while guiding organizations through both growth and challenge. I believe the Academy’s strength lies in its diverse membership, and I am dedicated to advancing its mission with fairness, respect, and a forward-looking vision.
