Personal and Campaign Statements
I’m deeply passionate about the field of nutrition and dietetics—committed to staying informed, actively involved, and serving as a visible advocate for both the Academy and the profession. As we face increasing competition from other health and wellness voices, now is the time for our profession to unite, amplify our impact, and reinforce our credibility. I believe that there are significant opportunities ahead: expanding our role in advocacy, strengthening our visibility through strategic marketing, and positioning RDNs and NDTRs as the go-to experts for evidence-based nutrition guidance. By embracing innovation, collaboration, and a shared vision, we can elevate the profession and ensure its relevance and influence in today’s evolving healthcare landscape.
I’m proud to announce my candidacy for House of Delegates (HOD) Director for the Academy. With a strong foundation in leadership, governance, and member engagement, I bring the knowledge, experience, and passion needed to serve with integrity, transparency, and respect. I’m ready to lead with clarity, confidence, and purpose—ensuring the HOD remains a strong, representative body that reflects the needs and aspirations of our members. Let’s shape the future of nutrition and dietetics—together.
