What do you see as opportunities for the future of the nutrition and dietetics profession?
Looking forward, the nutrition and dietetics profession has the opportunity to be actively involved in promoting diversity, equity, inclusion and access to the profession; ensuring practitioners are competent to serve all patients, clients, and customers; contributing to interdisciplinary and interprofessional efforts to promote health and well-being; and increasing recognition and compensation for nutrition and dietetics professionals. We need to be prepared and responsive to these trends and showcase the value we add, so that we not only have a seat at the table, but are leading the way.
