Personal and Campaign Statements
What do you see as opportunities for the future of the nutrition and dietetics profession?
It’s evident that diversity is the biggest opportunity for the future of the profession. Representation in the profession leads to nutrition experts reaching more of the population and in turn better access and outcomes for those we serve. While there is great conversation, I have always been a person of action. I have committed a considerable amount of my energy into advancing DEI and access at the source; students. Through my nonprofit, I am dedicated to reducing barriers to entry.
Campaign Statement
The Dietetics profession faces more opportunity than any time in our history. Let’s lean in by prioritizing Diversity, Equity and Inclusion as we continue to demonstrate our professional expertise!
