1. I am a dedicated and experienced dietetics professional. I have had the opportunity to work and volunteer in various sectors of the dietetics field. Throughout my career, I have worked with an amazing network of mentors and colleagues of both RDNs and NDTRs around the country. 2. It is critical to protect the public and guide them to registered and credentialed dietetic professionals. Withocial media and various ways people can access information it does not take much for consumers to be misled and misinformed. 3. I sit on the Essential Practice Competencies Committee, where we work to update and standardize our profession's terms and definitions. 4. I understand the differences between the organization itself and the professional issues in it. I am up to date on credentialing requirements. 5. I am in full support of our DPGs, like Public Health/Community Nutrition, Women's Health, Hunger & Environmental Nutrition, and Nutrition Entrepreneurs. Our MIGs, such as the Natio |

What do you see as opportunities for the future of the nutrition and dietetics profession?
My goal for NDTRs is to provide space for us to show up and support our community's nutrition knowledge and educational needs. We are essential credentialed dietetics professionals and the first faces people see. By working within our scope of practice, we have many amazing opportunities to provide nutritional support to all people in various business sectors, organizations, and academia.
