Nominating Committee National Leader in Practice for 15 Years or Less |
|
The leadership roles I’ve held across different Academy organizational units provides me with a unique lens to view our organization's challenges and opportunities. My goal has always been to elevate the profession in research, policy, and practice. My accomplishments in these roles demonstrate my ability to think strategically, address complex issues, and promote a culture of inclusivity. The key for me is listening in order to understand values, goals, enablers, and barriers, brought to the table. With that we can begin to generate solutions with the interests of Academy members in mind. |

Personal and Campaign Statements
What do you see as opportunities for the future of the nutrition and dietetics profession?
Emerging trends in personalized nutrition, the gut microbiome, digital health and artificial intelligence, and the social determinants of health present opportunities to elevate our role as evidence-based experts. As trusted voices on food and health, we are uniquely equipped to improve outcomes, reduce disparities, and empower communities to thrive through the power of nutrition. My vision is to position registered dietitian nutritionists as leaders within nutrition research policy and practice.
