Opportunities are limitless when we forge a trusted relationship with the public and respect our fellow practitioners. Simplified communication is needed for how credentialed food and nutrition professionals work in sustainable food systems, food security, education, research, and individualized & community health. Dietetics is agile lending to opportunities in cooperative disciplines. It's important to diversify the face of dietetics and adapt to current needs & future trends. Strengthening our role as decision-makers and licensure in all states are essential to our professional future.
As HOD Director I will continue to listen to members and subject matter experts, support delegates, and advocate to move our profession forward. The Second Century is here and the time to manifest our professional vision is now. Let's do this!
