Georgia Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (GAND) | Professional Development Chair | 2023-2025 and 2016-2018 | Planned and organized the GAND Annual Conference and Expo (ACE) in 2018 and also planned webinars for the GAND members. One of the recent webinars I planned is Flavors of the World Cook Along Teaching Kitchen with Indian Cuisine, and our GAND members enjoyed the Cook-Along Teaching Kitchen and got great feedback. Currently involved in planning the upcoming ACE in March 2024. |
Compass Group USA | Appointed Co-Chair of Compass RDN Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Network | March 2022 - Present | Responsible for overseeing, guiding, and supporting the network to drive results. Our network is committed to encouraging, supporting, and mentoring dietitians and diverse students, attracting and retaining diverse candidates, and expanding cultural humility across our food and nutrition services. As the Co-Chair, I oversee 5 committee leaders for the Recruitment, Retention, Communication, Cultural Humility, and Reporting committees, and each committee is dedicated to its specific focus area. |

Augusta District Dietetic Association (ADDA) | Legislative Chair | 2015 - current | Liaison for ADDA and GAND legislative committees, organized a public policy session for our ADDA annual banquet bringing the GAND Public Policy Chair and a state representative to discuss current Licensure issues in the state of GA and also participated in fund-raising efforts for GAND PPC. |
