Strengths/Skills
I have been a dietitian for 18 years, having been a preceptor for 13 and a dietetic internship director for the past 5 years. I also teach some of the nutrition and dietetics DPD courses at UMES. I have worked as a clinical dietitian in a variety of settings and also as a food service director. These experiences give me knowledge of the KRDNs and CRDNs and how to apply them in real-world settings. I apply active listening and respect while fostering teamwork when communicating with others. I have a passion for the field of dietetics and love teaching students and collaborating to continually improve dietetics education for students.
