Academy Foundation | Advanced Practice Residency Award | 2022 | As a doctor of clinical nutrition (DCN) student I was preparing to complete my residency, while also working, being a mom, and a wife. My residency required me to be away from my family for a significant period of time and also required me to take many unpaid hours at my job. |
Idaho Academy | Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year | 2020 | I am a pediatric critical care expert who was managing the PICU at St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital. Since starting at St. Luke’s in 2013, I had been instrumental in the expansion of the Dietitian role on the general pediatric, oncology, and PICU units. She started the Weight Intervention and Nutrition Clinic which serves children with malnutrition. I was regularly featured on KTVB during their nutrition segments and also wrote an article for the Idaho Press Tribune on the increasing prevalence of eating disorders in the pediatric population. I also had the honor of presenting a paper at the ASPEN and was an active member of the Pediatric Nutrition Practice Group. |
