After completing her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics at Indiana University Bloomington and Master of Science in Nutrition at Case Western Reserve University, she has worked to improve population health where positive habits start—in schools. Shannon is also pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy concentrating on public health from the University of Mississippi.
