More than ever nutrition and dietetics professionals need to be resilient during this VUCA time of Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, and Ambiguity. Current social, political, and healthcare climates have generated issues our profession must stay on top of. The House of Delegates governs trends impacting the profession. I will ensure the critical issues addressed by the HOD not only align with the Academy’s Strategic Plan but also with what matters to members and are vital to keep our profession thriving into the future. But timeliness matters, so I will also strive to accelerate HOD work.
Let’s continue to transform the House of Delegates to best meet the needs of our members and profession. Who best, but an RDN with experience as an Improvement Specialist on the House Leadership Team. I promote continual improvement in all that I do.
