Personal and Campaign Statements
I see several key areas of importance to focus on as the nutrition landscape evolves, with dietitians at the forefront of addressing trends that impact public health. Technological advances such as telehealth and mobile apps can enhance accessibility and allow dietitians to reach a broader audience, including underserved populations. We also have the opportunity and responsibility to guide our clients toward environmentally friendly practices, promoting plant-based diets and local food sourcing.
Recent years have been focused on personal development, including completion of my Doctorate in Clinical Nutrition, but I am now excited to put my energy into activities that will move our field forward.
